What is considered an essential service?

Essential services include: grocery stores, food establishments, gas stations, auto-repair shops, health care providers and caregivers, banks, post-offices and shipping buisnesses, food banks, hospital and labatory personnel, manufacturers, technicians, logistics and warehouse operators, workers who support food, shelter, and social services, etc. * *Please note this is not a comprehensive list* Non-essential buisnesses are generally recreational by nature. Examples of non-essential services include: hair and nail salons, spas, movie theatres, shopping malls, sporting and concert venues, museums, and gyms. *

How can I protect myself and others from COVID-19?

• Practice social distancing and stay at least six feet away from others who do not live in your household. • Wear a cloth face covering when in public. • Wash your hands with water and liquid soap often for at least 20 seconds or use alcohol-based handsantitizer. • Clean and disinfect surfaces that get touched a lot (such as door handles, cell phones, light switches, etc.)

What is social distancing?

Social distancing/ physical distancing means keeping at least 6 feet apart from others to slow the spread of COVID-19. Avoid crowded places and stay at least six feet away from other people, especially in enclosed areas.

When should I wear a face mask?

You should always wear a face mask when you are not at home. Please wear a face mask to protect yourselves and others even when you do not feel sick. Face masks should cover both your nose and mouth and placed securly around your face. Face masks should not be worn by children 2 years and younger.

How often should I wash my hands?

  • Before putting on your mask
  • Before taking off your mask
  • After being in a public place where you may have touched commonly touched items such as doorknobs, shopping carts, gas pumps, etc.

How should I clean my hands if liquid soap and water are not available?

Avoid touching your hands, eyes, and mouth. If soap and water are unavailable, you can use hand-sanitizer containing at lest 60% alchohol.
